And a happy father's day to all too. We are on a short trip but had a fine day. Spent some time exploring, listened to some bluegrass music and had a picnic. Our #2 son was able to be here with us and cooked us a fresh caught trout dinner.

Spent the day with my crabby teenage daughter who was ragging about how lame her dad was since he went on a trip with his wife for Father's Day.

On Sunday morning my Father's house was burglarized  while he and I went to the Stumps (4 blocks away) to grocery shop. We were gone 30 minutes. The thief broke a rear window, unlock it, climbed in and helped himself. Among the jewelry and watches taken was my backpack containing my iPhone and iPad and other stuff. :x So we spent most of the morning with the Police. However in the early afternoon my wife, sister and brother-in-law showed up and we managed to have a nice meal together.

Had a great day with Dad today. Tracy and I took him (along with 500 other people) up to James Hubbell's open house near Julian.
Happy Fathers Day to all the other Fathers out there.

While I came in to work both days this weekend, the last few weeks have been fantastic and releaving! The "icing on the cake" happened yesterday when I made contact with a couple of childhood (girl) friends through the book of face!

Happy happy happy!!!! \:D/

A must see, but only open once a year on Fathers Day. You may recognize Hubbell's work all over Shelter Island.
