That's right folks. Brought her home today. She been sitting for quite a about 9 years. I checked it out for the owner 3 years ago, but the family had to much sentimental attachment to it to sell back then. It was hard for them to watch it go today as I drove it home. Anyway more to come as I get into my learning about Bay Windows and Westy.
First thing on the list is to replace fuel lines. Who sells good 5mm braided fuel lines?

Congrats! Braided fuel line is no good no more. Gates Barricade from O'Reilleys or Autozone.

What I really need is a shifter extension.
Going through paper work. I'm third owner and she was purchased August 1969 from Wolff Motors, 4555 Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, Ca. 92109. 273-0150. More to come.

This bus has never lived more than 20 miles from where it was sold.

I believe I got one! Installed a Hurst shifter in the Plump Truck but IIRC the stock shifter in it had an extension. Currently going through the Garaj Macubicle and if I come across it, you can have it!

Nice bus Chris. And super nice price.
Vee Parts sells the German line for a good price. I know there are some people who swear off it but I always run it and never have any issues. They fit better too.

I have the extension in the Dormy's parcel tray, so anytime you may want it just meet me some place and it's yours!

Nice little stock single port motor.

I know this metal tag means something but I forget what? Factory rebuild maybe?
