that is awesome but where did you cut the top off at? Ivan's? So you plan on installing the top the "correct" way or the "Ivan" way? BTW I like "Ivan's" way.

We cut the roof at Ivan's.
It's going to open to the driver side(opposite of Ivan's). I have plans to one day get an awning for it.

should have known it was cut at Ivan's due to the posters. Could you "cut" windows in the fabric and put clear vinyl in for windows on both sides?

Drilling holes on new vent windows was hard, had to make sure everything was lined up just right. Vent windows are installed, and the vent mechanism work. Using Zinc plated washers temporarily until I can make washer plates from aluminum stock.

Best $90 I've spent on this conversion. It took the mobile window guy an hour and a half for what would have probably taken me all day and two broken windows, to do.

 Got a guy to install the glass windows for you???

Took me & Louis quite a while (and a PITA) to get mine on!!! :x

Also, I may be swaping the vent seals for the ones you got! Have had the rubber get "stuck" against the vent before. The felt will prevent that from happening.

I read about how much it was a PITA to install the windows and bead lock, Bill and I attempted to install them and gave up after an hour.

Top is secured to the roof. Wooohooooo.

Bus fits just right under the garage door.

Added the strap clips tonight. Ended up creating a metal plate for reassurance.

Also installed my light, nice and bright.

Thanks Ivan for all the help.

You can have your very own Dormy top.......

Finally installed the custom lift supports to keep the top up.

They came with a bottom bracket and ball studs.

So took the LPZ CMPR on a few errands this morning. Went for a bike ride with my boy, dropped off the new curtains to get hemmed up, driving home and BAAMM!!! Bus started wobbling. Pulled over(Happened right by Singlewheel.com's house). Chit chatted for a bit after I found this was the culprit....

Limped home and made it in the garage. Just ordered this for the fix....

But alas, BTDT!

If you indeed ordered all that, you're doing it right! Let me know if you need help with that. Good luck!

Oh crap, I have that kit, had to do mine. You could have borrowed mine and just bought the inserts, but I'd does work well. With the trans in it is hard to get square on the holes, I used an angle drive on a couple to make sure I went in straight.

That was pretty close to coming all the way apart.
one bolt on Slayer was stripped, I bought a longer bolt,
it tightened up and so far so good!

What Pyro said, if you need help let me know!

The engine in my camper is out removed the heads and pistons, I have some work to do!
