Is the six actually all the way down? Does the base meet the case or is the clamp twisted keeping it from going all the way down?

I had taken the clamp off the dizzy and put the clamp on the block and just put the nut and washer on but no where to be tight. I then put the dizzy in and made sure it was lined up correctly and then put all my weight on it. While I had all my weight I checked to make sure it was all the way in and it was. I then tightened everything up and she was running fine with no issues. Then about 15 min down the road (side roads of San Clemente), it popped up again. I did it again to get me going. Then in front of San Onofre, it did it again so I pulled the spring out.

Drove to work today with the same setup as yesterday (no spring) and had no issues. Drove great. I did adjust the valves last night and it sounds so much better.

it is there to keep the drive gear down into the block and not jump up and skip a tooth I was told. Not sure how that could happen if the dizzy is locked in there. Anyways it will be put back once I get the gear pulled and new washers installed, I will put the spring back.

almost destroyed my OG rack. I was getting ready to take it off so I could park the bus in the garage and I dismounted the rack but had to put the tools away before taking the rack off. So the rack was loose and then I got distracted by some other things and then jumped in the bus to park it in the garage. The rack was half way off the bus when I stopped. #-o ](*,)

Got out and took the rack off. No damage to the rack thankfully.

I was laughing after I found out I didn't destroy the rack.

Another reason why I should slam this SO42
