I have one for sale. I bought it for my last bus but never put it on. Its rough, but restorable. Has the bows and canvas, but it all needs attention. Needs hardware and vents. I'm looking for a couple of things in trade:

12v gas gauge (will consider 6v)
'67 Cargo door handle
Sundial tables and ice box with removable water tank

I'd rather trade, but $100 obo take it, too. Located in North County San Diego.

Thanks!

I can try to take some, but its really just a dirty white top with some rotted red and white canvas.

The top itself appears to be in decent shape. It just needs to be disassembled and everything cleaned up and brought back to life. I recently learned that new hardware and vent covers are still available from Dormobile, but decided not to use it.

If you could take pictures, that would be great. The roof on my 63 is hacked, and full of holes, so a dormy top would be a great improvement. Do you have all the mounting hardware?

Sounds like the solution to your roof problem. Mother nature has done most of the work. You could take the rest of the roof off with a nail file

Eventhough I'm on thedramba.com often too.

It's good that you're doing away with the thickness of old recoatings, but it doesn't look like there was much og paint to begin with. :???:

At least the process will reveal rust areas that you might have overlooked without stripping it!
