Just charge you battery up and bring a spare charged up, more than enough juice to get you up and back.

I should have thought of that before I started tearing the thing apart last night!!

Bring all the parts with you and we'll help you put it back together! Do you still have the little screws for the brushes or did they get lost? :-s

I notice that "those people" are off to the side. "Separate but equal"?

Just CL (call) ME (me) AHB (Ahab)...you see Ahab was the captain of the Pequod, which was the boat that chased Moby RICHARD, and the first line in the beginning of the narration was "Just call me Ishmael" so kind of a play on the Moby RICHARD theme...

Well I tried to install new brushes in the generator with the engine in.
One of the spring that holds the brushes in place popped out and there was no way I could get it back in.
So I charged the 3 batteries, was a bit apprehensive but headed out. I drove up, went on the cruse and took a scenic
way back home that took at least 3 hours all on one battery!! Was quite surprised that I went that far without having to swap batteries.
It definitely was a learning experience! These things never cease to amaze me!

BTY had fun, great people thanks to Sergio, Maria for the food, and Dan for the cruse!!
