I don't spend much time in this topic but just saw that picture. That item on the front fender I have seen in pictures of WW2 bugs and Kubelwagens. A light? Siren? No idea.

got this German model from Matchbox convention. Battery slides in back and as you roll it the siren actually flashes.
All that is missing is the old fashion siren horn Neeee Neeeer Neeee Neeeeer (you get the picture)

another bus model from Matchbox convention. It is slightly bigger than 1/64 scale but unique nonetheless.
the photos don't do it justice but the headlights reflect like diamonds (cubic zirconia)
